Save Our Mayor

Growing up in Withernsea, a once vibrant town, I've witnessed the ups and downs of our community, but it wasn't until Kristina Richardson became mayor that I saw true progress and unity. Mayor Kristina has been a beacon of hope and transformation, bringing about positive changes that have enriched the lives of countless residents. Support for local businesses, local charities, and a focus on community well-being are just a few hallmarks of her incredible tenure. It's disheartening, then, to see how our current Town Council has failed us by not supporting her re-election in May 2027.

In recent years, Withernsea Town Council has stagnated, overlooking the needs and desires of the people. Their decision to change the re-election process is particularly troubling, as it bars Mayor Kristina from continuing her invaluable work.
